Archie A. Blood, MBA, CFP®
Archie, a Michigan native, started his business in January 1989. He is the founder of Westshore Financial Services. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and investment advisor representative, Archie focuses on what is best for his clients and their future, while providing the professional advice and guidance needed to develop an appropriate plan. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, Archie earned his BBA and MBA degrees from Grand Valley State University, majoring in business management with a minor in finance. He currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, and 63 securities licenses in addition to numerous insurance licenses. For more than three years, Archie instructed the Financial Paraplanner and CFP® certification courses for the College for Financial Planning based in Denver, Colorado. He also served as an adjunct instructor for Davenport College for more than five years where he taught finance, financial planning, investing, management, and business classes. He developed and implemented new classes along with providing customized training sessions. Archie’s extensive knowledge, experience, and education help him create unique, customized plans built around each client’s personal life situation. He is currently a member of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce.
Timothy C. Wells, MBA
Tim started his professional career as a business banker in 1998. His experience in commercial banking and financial planning, in addition to teaching at Davenport University, has prepared Tim to be a comprehensive resource for families in West Michigan and beyond. Tim’s objective when serving clients is to teach and guide them through the financial planning process so they can become better stewards of their money.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, a significant blessing in his life. Other hobbies include officiating college, high school and youth soccer matches, which challenges Tim’s fitness and game management skills. Jilaine Geurink, Executive Assistant
Jilaine joined Westshore Financial Services in 1998. As Executive Assistane, she provides office management expertise and exceptional client service. She takes pride in understanding clients’ needs and meeting their expectations. Jilaine is dedicated to helping Archie and Tim simplify, organize, and align their clients’ personalized portfolios while offering full back office support. She is the go-to person who handles tasks that may appear small, but make the office operate in a smooth and efficient manner. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse, Cody.
